Hi Lucie, I have been meaning to post for a long time!! I am enjoying reading your drift and wishing that I was on the move again - still have to wait some years. So does the extension mean that you will not be at the graduation on April 21?? I had hoped to catch up then. Despite the awfulness of some of the experiences, there will be some joy - have it all. In the future you will look back in awe at yourself and what you are doing.
BTW - Laura from TEP427/8 has been in touch and asked about you. Do you mind if I send her the link? She has work, Term 1 at Muirfield high in North Rocks (near Carlingford).
I am pleased that you found a home for the cat. She will not forgive you for leaving when you return.
Take care lovey, study hard and enjoy it all.

Hi Ann! No I won't be at graduation unfortunately (although at this rate I may not graduate b/c I owe library fines).
Glad to hear Laura's found work so close to her home, feel free to send her the link and let her know I say hi. Have you found a placement yet?
Hope you're doing well and we should catch up during the June/July school hols! Maybe I'll even get a job when I get back! lol.

Well, it goes like this. I did not finish the semester until the middle of Novemeber and by the time I got it together, I did not apply for my casual number until the end of the month. I figured that I would not apply for jobs in 2007, as I am not sure exavctly what I plan on doing. At the moment I am trying to get the HSC boy sorted out, as he has discovered (surprise) that he can not afford to go to Canberra, even if he gets offered a place in the course he wants. I plan on casual work this year, esp term one and play the rest by ear. Suzan told me how to apply for jobs out her way and that she would give me a reference, but I will have to see how things go.
Keep in touch and drift along

Hmm, June... I thought since I was already here and could afford it I would stay on for another term. The idea is that I can consolidate my learning so hopefully when I (insha'allah) return to finish off the course I will not have forgotten the basics at least.

I know I'm a bad friend (althoguh not as bad as the friend who starts wars and then hides from the fall out!), but insha'allah if the deadline is broken you can just come and join me - we were going to travel around that time anyway... Plus, I'm almost out of vegemite and I'm wondering how I will survive...

Missing you to - sms me your skype details, I will call you! Btw, your mum called me two days ago... She obviously misses me more than you do... Now who's the bad friend?

Insha'allah we'll manage to chat soon, in the mean time be good, and don't do anything I wouldn't do (which I realise is fairly restrictive, but it's all good).

Love
L
